The Objective

Jamaica’s 40AmazingUnder40™ is a national programme founded and managed by AnseSymphoni.Vergenze to celebrate and honour Jamaica’s present and future leaders, through the recognition of 40 Jamaicans who have attained a significant level of success but have not yet reached the age of 40.

The programme is designed to promote mentorship and professional development by introducing these individuals and their achievements to a local and international audience; and promoting them as role models for Jamaicans.

In choosing awardees, achievements in the following areas will be considered:

• Innovation + Achievement
• Vision + Leadership
• Impact
• Growth + Development
• Community Involvement + Contribution

Thrust of the National Programme

Jamaica 40AmazingUnder40™ emerged from a consciousness to accentuate, promote and highlight the superb accomplishments of the Jamaican people; and to provide a medium through which recognition of these accomplishments can be celebrated. The essence of 40AmazingUnder40™ is to reinforce what is amazing about Jamaica as a nation and her people, and to engender a sustained programme that connects the creativity, tenacity, determination and achievement of our people who are making a difference in the life of our nation and its communities.

The Jamaica 40AmazingUnder40™ National Awards will be held on August 12, 2010 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. This national event celebrate and honours Jamaicans under the age of forty who consistently demonstrate excellence in their profession, as well as innovation, vision, leadership, commitment, and service to their community.

The Jamaica 40AmazingUnder40™ National Awards are produced as a collaborative effort of AnseSymphoni.Vergenze, UTech School of Graduate Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship (SGSRE), Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, and with the support of our generous sponsors and in-kind supporters.
