#34 Minna Israel, Former CEO, RBC Bank
A career banker with almost 30 years of experience, Israel spent years as the number two behind William Clarke at Scotiabank Jamaica before spending three very successful years as Managing Director of Scotiabank Bahamas. She returned to Jamaica in 2008 to head up the operations of then RBTT Bank Jamaica, with a mission to narrow the gap between RBTT and the top players in the local market. THE MONA School of Business (MSB), University of the West Indies (UWI), announced the appointment of Minna Israel as Distinguished Business Fellow, effective March 1, 2012. Among the specific activities in which Israel will be engaged is working on developing the executive management development component of the programme targeted at the business community in the northern Caribbean.BM
