NCB Financial Group Limited (NCBFG) has advised of organizational changes within its subsidiary National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCBJ) that will be effective April 3, 2017 the , as follows:

Mr. Septimus (Bob) Blake will be promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Blake’s present responsibilities as Senior General Manager Treasury & Correspondent Banking Division and Payment Services have been split, with Mrs. Tanya Watson Francis becoming the Head of Treasury & Correspondent Payment & Services and Ms. Claudette Rodriquez becoming Head of Payment Services. They, along with the Heads of Retail and Corporate Banking, will report to Mr. Blake.
Mrs. Danielle Cameron Duncan will be appointed Head of Non-Branch Channels.

 

Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited has advised that effective June 1, 2017, Mr. Stephen Price, Vice President of Sales and Distribution will assume the role of Managing Director of Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited and that Mr. Garfield Sinclair, President of FLOW Caribbean, will have continuing responsibility for CWJ over the next two months.

 

GraceKennedy Limited (GK) has advised of changes to the organizational structure of First Global Bank Limited (FGB).

FGB has created the post of Senior Vice President, Technology. Mrs. Nichole Case has been appointed to act in this new role and will report directly to the President and CEO, Mrs. Mariame Mcintosh Robinson. The Technology Department will be responsible for core IT infrastructure and capabilities as well as EBusiness(E-Channels, Innovation and Technology).

FGB has also created the positions of Assistant Vice President, Strategy and Project Management Office and Vice President, Digital Marketing and Communications. As part of the restructuring exercise the post of General Manager was made redundant and Mrs. Paula Barclay will demit office effective March 31, 2017. FGB thanks Mrs. Barclay for her notable contribution to the GraceKennedy Group over the past 18 years.

 

The JMMB Group Limited has advised that effective March 13, 2017, Mr. H. Wayne Powell was appointed to their Board of Directors as well as its subsidiary JMMB Merchant Bank Limited.

 

Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) has advised of the retirement of the following Directors of SGJ and the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica (BNSJ) effective March 9, 2017: (a) Mr. Anthony Chang, C.D. retired from the Boards of SGJ & BNSJ in accordance with the companies’ Corporate Governance Policy, Directors Term Limits (b) Mr. Charles Johnston, C.D. retired from the Board of SGJ in accordance with the company’s Corporate Governance Policy, Directors Term Limits and (c) Mr. Joseph Matalon, C.D. retired from the Boards of SGJ & BNSJ and did not offer himself for re-election on account of personal reasons.

 

GraceKennedy Limited (GK) has advised that Gail Moss-Solomon has been appointed to the position of Chief Corporate Secretary/General Counsel for GK effective April 1, 2017 replacing Mrs. Karen Chin Quee Akin who will be retiring from the Company as of March 31, 2017.

 

NCB Capital Markets (Barbados) Limited has advised that Mr. Julian Jordon has been appointed as a director of the company on March 6, 2017.
