Lissant Mitchell’s Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited (SIJL) is reporting a net profit of $149.8 million for the quarter ended January 31, 2017 representing a 27% jump in profits compared with $117.8 million for same period in 2016.

In his report to shareholders, Mitchell indicated that this increase was due to consistent performance in Scotia’s core Asset Management business line.

He says going forward, Scotia Investments will focus on customer service, business mix alignment, digital transformation, enhanced team members’ engagement and structural cost transformation.BM
